Solifenacin succinate 10mg
Administer the recommended dose of 5mg once a day for adults (including elderly patients). Dose may be increased to 10mg once a day if needed. This drug may be taken regardless of meals and should be swallowed together with water.
Method and administration should be adjusted for :
1. Renal impairment patients: No need for dose adjustment for mild and moderately severe renal impairment patients (creatinine clearance>30ml/min). Careful administration necessary for sever renal impairment patients (creatinine clearance≤30ml/min), not exceeding 5mg once a day.
2. Liver impairment patients: No need for dose adjustment for mild lever impairment patients. Careful administration necessary for moderately severe liver impairment patients (Child-Pugh class B), not exceeding 5mg once a day.
3. Patients being administered powerful cytochrome P450 eA4 (CYP3A4) inhibitors: Max. daily dose for patients being administered ketoconazole or other powerful cytochrome P450 eA4 (CYP3A4) inhibitor (e.g. ritonavir, nelfinavir, or itraconazole) restricted to 5mg.
Treatment of urge urinary incontinence, pollakiuria, urgency and other irritable bladder symptoms
