Celecoxib 200mg
Recommended dose of this drug should be adjusted depending on the patient; drug may be administered regardless of meals
Adults :
1. Osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis): Administer 200mg celecoxib once a day or 100 mg twice a day.
2. Rheumatoid arthritis: Administer 100mg or 200mg celecoxib twice a day.
3. Ankylosing spondylitis (AS): Administer 200 mg celecoxib once a day or 100 mg twice a day. If effects are not observed after 6 weeks, administer up to 400mg per day. If no effects are observed 6 weeks into 400mg/day administration, consider other methods of treatment.
4. Acute pain and primary dysmenorrhea: Recommended initial dose is 400mg celecoxib; administer 200mg additionally on first day of administration. If necessary, administer the recommended dose of 200mg per administration twice a day from the second day of administration.
Patients with liver impairment: Dose must be reduced to approximately 50% of daily recommended dose for patients with moderately severe liver impairment (Child-Pugh Class II).
