Take 2 capsules (2 tablets) (adults) or 1 capsules (1 tablet) (Children 7 to 14) three times a day before or between meals.
Throat pain, thirst, cough, and headache due to common cold
1. The following persons should not take this drug.
Infants and children under 5 years
2. The following should consult a physician, oriental medicine practitioner, dentist, pharmacist or oriental pharmacist before administration of this drug.
1) Patients with hypertension
2) Patients with cardiac or renal impairment
3) Patients with edema
4) Infirm patients (patients with reduced physical strength, patients with weak bodies)
5) Patients with weak stomachs and bowels
6) Patients with previous experience of rashes, redness or itchiness, etc. due to drugs
7) Patients receiving treatment from a physician (patients being administered other drugs)
8) Pregnant or potentially pregnant women
9) Elderly patients (Exercise caution in general with elderly patients by reducing doses, etc. as they generally have reduced physiological functions)
3. In the following cases, immediately discontinue administration of this drug and consult a physician, oriental medicine practitioner, dentist, pharmacist or oriental pharmacist. If possible, the patient should take this document with him/her when consulting.
1) Cases where the following symptoms have appeared as the result of administration of this drug
(1) Pseudoaldosteronism : Reduced urine, edema of the face, hands and feet, heavy eyelids, stiff hands, hypertension and headache, etc. (Preparations with maximum daily doses of 1g as licorice may result in pseudoaldosteronism with symptoms such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, sodium fluid retention, edema, and weight gain, etc. when administered for prolonged periods; observe sufficiently (measure serum potassium level) and discontinue administration if anomalies are confirmed.)
(2) Myopathic disorder : Myopathic disorder may appear as the result of hypokalemia; observe sufficiently, and discontinue administration upon confirmation of weakness, cramping of the limbs, and paralysis, etc.
(3) Skin : Rashes, redness, itchiness, hives, etc.
(4) Digestive system : Loss of appetite, gastric discomfort, nausea, etc.
2) If symptoms are not improved even after several days of administration
4. Miscellaneous precautions when administering this drug
1) Adhere strictly to prescribed method and dose of administration.
2) Continued long-term administration should be avoided in principle; consult a physician, oriental medicine practitioner, dentist, pharmacist or oriental pharmacist before administering for prolonged periods of time.
3) Children should be instructed and supervised by a guardian when taking this drug (for products with doses and administration instructions for children only)
4) Administer with caution as concomitant administration with preparations containing potassium, licorice, glycyrrhizinic acid or salts thereof, loop diuretics (furosemide, Etacrynic acid) or thiazide diuretics (trichloromethiazide) may cause myopathic disorder due to pseudoaldosteronism or hypokalemia.
5) Avoid redundant herbal medicine content when administering together with other oriental pharmaceutical preparations.
5. Storage precautions
1) Keep away from direct sunlight and keep in a sealed container in a cool place with low humidity.
2) Keep out of reach of children.
3) Removing drugs from their original container and storing them in other container may lead to accidents due to misuse or lower quality; be sure to keep in tightly closed original container.
