Adults : 1 bottle (single dose) per administration

Stroke (total paralysis, limb paralysis, language disorder, coma, stupor, facial paralysis), hypertension, palpitations, anxiety, acute and chronic convulsions, autonomic dysfunction, unconsciousness
1. Warnings
Administer according to expert instructions when taking to lower blood pressure.
2. The following should consult a physician, oriental medicine practitioner, dentist, pharmacist or oriental pharmacist before administration of this drug.
1) Patients with hypertension
2) Patients with cardiac or renal impairment
3) Patients with edema
4) Elderly patients (Exercise caution in general with elderly patients by reducing doses, etc. as they generally have reduced physiological functions)
5) Patients receiving treatment from a physician (patients being administered other drugs)
6) Patients with substantially weak stomach and bowels (loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea may appear).
7) Patients with loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting (symptoms may be exacerbated)
3. In the following cases, immediately discontinue administration of this drug and consult a physician, oriental medicine practitioner, dentist, pharmacist or oriental pharmacist. If possible, the patient should take this document with him/her when consulting.
1) Cases where the following symptoms have appeared as the result of administration of this drug
(1) Pseudoaldosteronism : Reduced urine, edema of the face, hands and feet, heavy eyelids, stiff hands, hypertension and headache, etc. (Preparations with maximum daily doses of 1g as licorice may result in pseudoaldosteronism with symptoms such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, sodium fluid retention, edema, and weight gain, etc. when administered for prolonged periods; observe sufficiently (measure serum potassium level) and discontinue administration if anomalies are confirmed.)
(2) Myopathic disorder : Myopathic disorder may appear as the result of hypokalemia; observe sufficiently, and discontinue administration upon confirmation of weakness, cramping of the limbs, and paralysis, etc.
(3) Skin : Rashes, redness, itchiness, hives, etc.
(4) Digestive system : Loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea, diarrhea, etc.
2) If symptoms are not improved even after around one week of administration
4. Miscellaneous precautions when administering this drug
1) Consult a physician, oriental medicine practitioner, dentist, pharmacist or oriental pharmacist before administering for prolonged periods of time.
2) Adhere strictly to prescribed method and dose of administration.
3) Administer with caution as concomitant administration with preparations containing potassium, licorice, glycyrrhizinic acid or salts thereof, loop diuretics (furosemide, Etacrynic acid) or thiazide diuretics (trichloromethiazide) may cause myopathic disorder due to pseudoaldosteronism or hypokalemia.
4) Clinical reports of 66.7% or higher effectiveness for facial paralysis, anxiety, paralysis of limbs, and language disorder.
5) Comparative clinical trials between Wonbang Woohwangchungsimwon and Byeonbang Woohwangchungsimwon has shown that Wonbang had a significantly better effect than Byeonbang on motor dysfunction and facial paralysis of stable patients with confirmed diagnoses of stroke through Brain MRI or Brain CT. No consistent difference in effects against stroke symptoms between the two was confirmed, with the two having no significant difference in effects against language disorder or disorders of consciousness. Clinical reports indicate the two preparations are equal in terms of hypertension symptoms such as hypertension, headache, heaviness of head, and nausea.
6) Difficulty breathing deleted from indications as efficacy against difficulty breathing was not confirmed.
7) Avoid redundant herbal medicine content when administering together with other oriental pharmaceutical preparations.
5. Storage precautions
1) Keep in cool area away from direct sunlight and with low humidity (Must store in sealed container after use.).
2) Keep away from children.
