1. Gastric and duodenal ulcers, stomal ulcers, upper gastrointestinal tract bleeding (due to digestive ulcers, acute stress ulcers, and bleeding ulcers), reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: For adults, orally administer 20mg famotidine twice a day (after breakfast, after dinner or before sleep) of administer 40mg once a day orally (before sleep).
In the case of upper gastrointestinal tract bleeding, begin therapy with injection, and switch to oral administration when possible.
2. Improvement of gastric mucosal lesions (erosion (maceration), bleeding, rubefaction, edema) in the following diseases : acute gastritis, acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis
Adults: Orally administer 10mg famotidine twice a day (after breakfast, after dinner or before sleep) of administer 20mg once a day orally (before sleep). Increase or reduce dose appropriately depending on age and symptoms.
